SEMCAP Leads Funding Round for Healf's Global Expansion in Wellness

In a significant move for the wellness industry, Healf a London-based personalized wellbeing platform, has secured a substantial investment led by SEMCAP Beauty & Wellness. This infusion of capital aims to accelerate the company’s product development and international expansion, positioning Healf as a leader in the increasingly crowded health and wellness market.

The investment round brings together a diverse group of backers, including Pentland VenturesAmi CapitalIRISActive PartnersSequel and Dara5. Notable figures such as Claudia SchifferNatalia Vodianova Arnault and over 40 professional athletes, including Reece James and Trevoh Chalobah have also joined the investment. While the financial terms remain undisclosed, the funding is earmarked for enhancing Healf’s personalization platform and expanding its reach beyond the UK.

Healf’s Unique Approach to Wellness

Founded in 2020, Healf has carved out a niche by helping consumers navigate the complex health and wellness landscape. The platform integrates curated products, blood biomarker testing, wearable technology, practitioner guidance, customer data, and personalized recommendations. This holistic approach is organized around what Healf calls the Four Pillars of WellbeingEatMoveMind and Sleep. These pillars serve as the foundation for connecting health data and expert guidance with individual consumer needs.

Healf’s rapid growth is evident in its achievement of over £100 million in annualized revenue, a milestone reached with fewer than 100 employees. The company’s success has not gone unnoticed, as it was named Europe’s fastest-growing business in the 2026 Financial Times FT1000 rankings. This combination of rapid revenue growth, consumer trust, and a technology-driven personalization strategy has attracted the attention of SEMCAP Beauty & Wellness, which invests in growth businesses spanning beauty, health, and wellbeing.

Expanding Horizons: Healf’s International Ambitions

The new capital will support Healf’s further development of its personalization platform and its expansion into international markets. The company has recently launched in Germany marking its first foray outside the UK and establishing a base for broader international growth. This expansion comes at a time when wellness consumers are faced with an overwhelming assortment of products, health information, diagnostics, and digital tools.

Healf positions its platform as a solution to this complexity, offering a way to bring together various inputs and provide more individualized guidance. Lestat McCree co-founder and CEO of Healf, emphasizes that wellness has a decision problem, not a product problem. The proliferation of health products, opinions, and choices has made it increasingly difficult for consumers to determine what works for their individual needs. The investment will enable Healf to build on its existing consumer relationships while developing a more personalized approach to health and wellbeing decisions.

The Future of Personalized Wellness

For SEMCAP Beauty & Wellness, the investment in Healf adds a rapidly scaling wellness platform to its portfolio. This move aligns with the growing consumer demand for ways to interpret health data, products, and recommendations within a more personalized framework. Healf’s model, which combines commerce with diagnostics and personalized health information, fits SEMCAP’s strategy of investing in companies with established consumer trust, differentiated market positions, and opportunities to scale.

The next stage of growth for Healf will focus on translating its UK momentum into an international business while strengthening the personalization capabilities that differentiate its platform. Germany represents the first test of this expansion strategy outside the UK, with the new funding providing additional resources for both geographic growth and continued product development. As the wellness industry continues to evolve, Healf is poised to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of personalized health and wellbeing.
