Experience Live Events Like Never Before at Cosm Detroit

In the heart of downtown Detroit, a revolutionary venue has opened its doors, promising to transport visitors into the midst of their favorite live events. Cosm Detroit, located at Cadillac Square, is the latest addition to a growing chain of immersive entertainment venues that bring fans closer to the action than ever before.

The venue’s grand opening on September 10, 2026, marked the beginning of a new era in sports and entertainment viewing. With an 87-foot-diameter, 12K+ LED dome and wall-to-wall high-resolution screens, Cosm Detroit offers an unparalleled experience that makes fans feel as if they are right at the sidelines, courtsides, or center ice.

The Cosm Experience

Cosm Detroit is not just about what you see; it’s about what you feel. The venue’s proprietary technology and immersive design create an atmosphere that is as close to being at a live event as possible. The main attraction, the 87-foot dome, offers stadium-style seating that places viewers at various levels of a stadium or up close with art, films, and destinations.

The venue spans 70,000 square feet across three levels and can accommodate up to 1,500 guests. In addition to the dome, Cosm Detroit features a Hall area with stadium-style seating and wall-to-wall displays, as well as comfortable lounge seating and a rooftop deck. The

Dynamic Pricing and Event Variety

Ticket prices at Cosm Detroit vary depending on the event and demand. Jeb Terry, president and CEO of Cosm, explained that pricing is based on the scarcity of the event. “We monitor demand and make sure the fans that really want to come have the opportunity to do that,” Terry said.

The venue offers a diverse range of events, from NFL games to U.S. Open tennis matches and college football. Cosm Detroit also partners with Cirque du Soleil and Warner Brothers to bring films like Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone and The Matrix to life on the big screen. Future plans include expanding into the music space, with concerts potentially beamed from iconic sites such as Red Rocks Amphitheatre and London’s O2 Arena.

Culinary Delights with a Local Twist

No sports venue is complete without delicious food and drinks. Cosm Detroit’s menu is designed to be “Detroit-centric,” with a focus on sourcing local ingredients and supporting nearby suppliers. Clifton Booth, Cosm’s chef, has a passion for sourcing local and ensures that the menu reflects the best of what Detroit has to offer.

The menu features a variety of appetizers, main dishes, sides, and desserts, as well as seasonal options. Some standout items include a double smash patty burger with Zip sauce aioli, nachos topped with barbacoa beef, and a Cadillac stack sandwich featuring Wigley’s corned beef and Zingerman’s bread. The venue also offers a selection of craft beers, cocktails, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks.

Future Expansions and Ambitions

Cosm Detroit is the fourth venue in the Cosm chain, following locations in Los Angeles, Dallas, and Atlanta. The company has plans to expand to more cities and internationally, with Cosm Cleveland on the horizon. The success of the existing venues has given the company confidence that fans are eager for more of this immersive experience.

Looking ahead, Cosm aims to continue venturing into other entertainment areas. The company is working on deals with other movie studios and anticipates multiple annual film releases in its venues. Additionally, Cosm is exploring the music space, with the ambition to bring concerts from iconic destinations around the world to its venues.

“The same way we can transport you to the sideline, we want to transport you to the front row,” Terry said. With its innovative technology and commitment to hospitality, Cosm Detroit is set to become a beacon for downtown Detroit and a must-visit destination for sports and entertainment enthusiasts.
