Additionally, 70% of Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents believe it is crucial which party controls Congress, compared to 60% of Republicans and Republican leaners.

President Donald Trump’s presence looms large in the 2026 midterm elections. The survey reveals that most voters consider Trump a factor in their vote.
